My girl, Kristen Alderson is still doing her thing! She should be recognized for her performance as for next years Emmy. This week, the scene between Starr and Todd were heartbreaking. For as long as I have watched the show and knowing how close their relationship has always been, it’s terrible how Starr wishes that her father were dead. I kind of miss the days when Starr was Todd’s partner-in-crime.
I’m confused with the Jess/Tess/Bess “pyschobull”. Tess was enough and Bess is just too much! On a side note, Brody is like the hottest mental patient ever!
Marty slowing seems to be evolving around to the way that I remember her. Maybe it’s just me, but I loved the angry, crazy Marty! I can’t wait to see what kind of revenge she is going to bestow upon Todd. I also want to see her and John restore a romantic relationship. I love seeing Blair squirm and she definitely will have her panties in a bunch if that happens! Shoot, Dorian’s big mouth already has Blair itching to throw a tantrum. Oh, I can’t wait. . .
The main person I’ve been watching all week is Todd. On today’s episode, I saw that tear and it made me want to cry. Then I had to remember how sick of a thing it was that he did to Marty. He can’t be forgiven for the rape, nor for falling in love with her. Po thang! Todd is so miserable and starting to lose his mind (I think). Is Tea Delgado actually there or is Todd hallucinating up her image? I mean, really, how did Tea get off that island?
Yes, ladies (and gents) our goofy, lovable, and sexy man, Tuc Watkins is returning to OLTL to reprise the role of David Vickers. According to this article on SoapNet, he’s going to be all kinds of messed up:
OMG OMG. So Erika Slezak dropped a bombshell at Super Soap and it was a good one. Tuc Watkins is returning to “One Life to Live” as David Vickers! But it gets better. David, as we know, is really the long lost Buchanan heir. Basically everyone knows. Except him. Well, when David returns, he’s going to 100% find out he is a Buchanan. And you can imagine what will happen from there.
It doesn’t end. The story will involve another appearance from Phil Carey, who we all know and love from his 27 years playing Asa Buchanan. So really, two returns for the price of one.
Oh yeah, David will be a Buddhist Monk. WTH? For real, it’s true.
This scene is Todd with Starr and Jack before his scheduled execution. For so long, we have seen a broken relationship between a father and daughter. One could almost forget just how close Starr and Todd were.

I haven’t posted because there really hasn’t been much going on after Marty was released into the wild world of Llanview. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s been quite boring?!
OLTL , as most soaps, are just so much more fun when there is drama going on. I mean, Rex is now with Gigi, but they are busted and boring as hell! Jessica is still trying my nerves playing victim and mental. Not to mention, Jared and Natalie’s faces aren’t helping! Starr’s situation is just so sad, but at least the Wicked Witch of Llanview, has the balls to investigate and find out what’s really going on! No one else is questioning how unreal the baby’s death seems. Langston and Markko had a good run, but have now faded back into the realm of obscurity. Brody still needs to find a woman. Where the funk is Layla? Can Michael take his ignorant behind home and stand by Marcie? Johnny McBain played superhero and now is just a dumb ass who doesn’t want to take credit where credit is due. He would’ve kept his position on the force and remained free. What’s he going to do now? Play vigilante once again so that he can take down the mayor on his own call? Probably. He likes playing Batman minus Robin. However, I also know he’s still thinking about Marty and Dorian is absolutely right. Blair has some work to do. She’s been fooling herself is she believed her milkshake was that good! Then again, Blair’s actions are so ho-tastic, she probably never even thought about John still being in love with Marty. Ha! I hope Marty does resume a relationship with John. I’m sorry, but the scenes aren’t working when she is playing mother/son with Cole. I know the chick has had a brain fart, but unh uh. . . . Susan Haskell and Brandon Buddy have no chemistry whatsoever. Maybe it will get better along the way? WHAT ABOUT TODD? (Sorry for the caps. Just thinking of one of my favorite movies, “What About Bob?”) Todd was a punk, but he looks so terrible that I will now admit to feeling bad for him. I am wondering what he was thinking about as he faced the mirror and thought about how he changed his face? I have a feeling that OLTL is going to bring back the ‘Todd Scar’. (Don’t do it!!!). I am probably wayyyy off, but the way Todd removed the bandage from the stitches and touched his face made me think about Roger Haworth and the scar he was forced to wear. And it seems as if Todd is leaning towards letting his scars show after what he did to Marty (and Starr). Those scars were the reminders of the monster he once was in the past. And I think he will use them again to remind himself of how “ugly” of a person his.
I’m so late posting this entry. Yesterday was so hectic that I was only able to listen to OLTL, not actually watch it! Usually when this happens, I try to catch the show on you tube. However, the kids were crazy so that didn’t happen either. I had to wait until 8 am this morning to peep out yesterday’s fiasco on Soap Net.
This storyline with Todd and Marty is unbelievable, but so entertaining. It’s the train wreck that you can’t turn away from! This sl has had me on edge for months now and it’s still going strong!
Once again, Todd is looking more pathetic than the last time. This man is forever going to be damaged goods! Of course, Todd was definitely wrong for what he did to Marty. First to rape her, and then to take advantage of her by falling for her and sleeping with her! Totally unforgivable! Perhaps, OLTL writers crossed the line with this “falling-in-love” foolishness? I don’t know. Still, I can’t stop watching. And the way Todd looks (excellent job makeup artists) lying in that bed, almost has me feeling sorry for him.
I feel sad for Starr and (surprisingly) Marcie about the baby situation. Hopefully, this switcheroo won’t be dragged out forever. And Cole must be going out of his mind now that he has seen his mother alive! It will be even more messed up if it’s revealed that Marty is pregnant with Todd’s baby!
Hey fans of OLTL! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I’ve moved to a new apartment (finally) and just began getting settled in. We haven’t had gotten cable yet, so I’ve been watching the show via antenna.
For the past two months, so much has been happening on the show it’s ridiculous. . . no it’s ridamndiculous!
Jess. . . Tess. . . Bess, has been absolutely incorrigible to watch. I can’t believe that I actually was waiting for her return. Although, I am sick of Natalie and Jared, I guess that it’s a good thing they are finally let out of that room. But wasn’t the reunion between those two and Viki and Charlie underacted? I don’t know. I just wasn’t feeling Natalie’s fake crying.
I am saddened by the exit of A. Martinez as Ray Montez, but I bet that Vanessa is going to bring the drama. On today’s show, we already see that Sara isn’t going to give Cristian “any” because Vanessa and Lola live in his place! After seeing that man’s body, I don’t know how Sara could resist? Couldn’t been me!!!
Thank you, OLTL, for seeing Starr’s pregnancy through until the very end. Kristen Alderson did an excellent job through this entire storyline. She didn’t disappoint during the labor, nor during the “death” of the baby. Her crying was on point and real. Maybe Melissa Archer took notes?!
Overall, the biggest drama the show bought was between Marty and Todd. I can’t talk about nothing else but the fact that they actually had sex! I don’t know why it had to go there. Heck, I don’t know why Todd fell in love with Marty! Well, I guess that is all changed now? Of course, Johnny McBain was the man to the rescue! I am happy that he’s found Marty and told her the truth. But couldn’t he have went easy on Todd? We all know that Todd can ‘t fight and John knocked him the hell out. I couldn’t stop laughing.
Aw, how sweet! John decided to drive all the way to Blair’s place to give her a good-bye kiss! So, here we go again–Johnny off to play hero. Is this his only purpose? I already know that he’s going to save Marty, Cristian, and even Natalie. Just for once, it would be nice to see him actually settle down with someone without running off to rescue the world.

This scene was absolutely unnecessarily. I am tired of seeing Nora acting so strange! She’s suppose to be a strong, tough and independent character. What is she doing sitting around sniffling over Matthew going to high school. It’s not as if this is her first time going through this ish, or has she conveniently forgotten about Rachel? Nora, get over yourself. It’s not all about you and what you want! And why is she still with Clint when she was so angry at what he was doing to Langston?! Come back to us, Nora. A lady in distress doesn’t fit you.
What conjugal visit?
Darn! For a split second, I thought Cristian was going to allow Vanessa to have her way with him. He didn’t appear to be putting up too much of a fight! On the other hand, I think that Vanessa may be hot-headed, but still loyal to Ray. Snap! It would’ve been nice to see Cristian without his shirt though!
Ray Montez, meet Senora Dorian Lord.
I don’t know if Ray is intimidated by Dorian or not. She might not be able to kick his butt, but she has a lot of money and power to deal with him. I am confused at to what Clint’s plan is for Ray? Does he expect this man to spend time with his niece, then just disappear? It seems to me that Ray may actually become really attached to Langston. And he is going to grow tired of Clint using him and Langston. Something bad is definitely going to happen with this story line.
It’s so obvious she’s Tess.
I’m still asking this question: What is wrong with Jared? Is he so whipped over Natalie that he can’t focus completely on Tess/Jess? Tess was the person who he had the one-night (or weekend) stand with. He sure did remember enough of her that night to track her to Llanview. I can’t believe that he can’t see that this is Tess playing him for a fool. Unbelievable!
*Side notes: Starr’s pregnant walk is funny, Natalie looks very pretty without much makeup, Blair’s starting to get old and Matthew’s voice is still scratchy sounding!
Well, I’m off to go take some aspirins to subdue the headache that I know I will have after tomorrow’s show. Gigi and Rex most likely will be on!
